Good heavens, Ron -- no, I am not in Rancho Mirage right now!
I am more obviously right in Rancho Westchester. The air is
getting crisp, the wind is up, and the leaves are turning red.
I salvaged my five very special ornamental pelargoniums
(geraniums) two days ago, just in time!

Gino reports that it poured all day Saturday down in St.Louis
and then turned very chilly on Sunday. He proposes to leave
the green passion fruit on the vine until the temps threaten to
sink below 33*. We don't know which cultivar he has, so
do you think I should encourage him to pick them (still green)
if it gets below 45*...? Say -- perhaps he should do half and half.....?

I had no idea about those 'firebugs'. One more incident of
man's inhumanity to man.

Penny
