We did, Lucinda, but we did things a little differently. Bottom cabinets were set in place, but not firmly attached, so I had DH unpack the dishwasher and put it in the hole. When installers arrived in the morning, I pointed out that a drawer wouldn't open because of the dishwasher and the dishwasher front couldn't be opened past knobs. They put spacers in to take care of those things. I had them hang the upper doors a little low so we could open from the bottoms of the doors (no need for knobs, and they can break the bank). I decided the cupboards over the stove were so high a hood would look ridiculous. We took the unpackaged hood back to HD and bought an over-the-stove microwave/hood combination. That's DH's favorite part of the remodel now. Margaret L >won't do any good - HomeDepot operates this way all the time. I >don't know anyone who has had a good experience with them. >Lucinda
