Welcome, CB -- when do we plant our summer veggies...?
We aren't even allowed to start our tomato seedlings until
April -- and nothing goes into the ground until May 15th, only
if the weather has become mild!

We're near New York City, zone 6. Imagine what it's like for the
gardeners north of us, such as zone 4 -- it must be a very short
summer.

This year we're in for a severe drought. 2001 was very dry, and
2002 is proving to be worse. New Jersey is about to put in
water rationing for the situation is so bad -- the reservoirs are
only at 49% and sinking, whereas normally they are at 86% and
rising in February. It's gonna be a rough growing season ahead.
