Hello, Penny,

We have experienced nothing quite that extreme, but last year, after a
couple of heavy rains, we had a very strong Santa Ana which blew our
young macadamia nearly over. We righted it as much as we could, then
staked it and eased it back by adjusting the tension on some pieces of
ex nylon pantyhose. We are currently correcting the growth habit of our
curry leaf tree and persimmon, as well, since they all tend to grow
towards the sun and are in partial shade much of the day.
