Hy, Ron -- doesn't it pay to thin out the fruit early on...? 

With the heat wave finally broken, the pros came and
replanted our front entrance. Seems way too late in the
season for this, but they assure me that potted transplants
will not suffer. Of course, now it is up to me to keep 
every thing watered, and that's a jolly good trick with our
water restrictions!  I am quite totally knocked out!

And you cannot believe how much damage was done to 
our soaker system -- it wil take us WEEKS to rebuild the
whole thing!  I am most concerned that Jimmie's 
arthritis in his fingers will prevent him from pressing on
the plastic repairs..  This is going to be an ordeal, in
the end. 

I wish I liked lemonade.
