My mom broke = both her hips last year and now has just had her second surgery this = year. She requires full time care so my head hasn't been above water for = quite awhile. Regarding the vinegar to kill weeds... I've had success killing new = weeds with the solution you buy at the grocery store. = http://www.ars.usda.gov/is/pr/2002/020515.htm. has the complete article. = I still haven't found a source for the higher concentrations, but I = haven't really had the time to look. I swore I wouldn't have any grass, but with all the other things going = on I had to do something immediate in the back yard. I had Buffalo grass = seed put in. Anyone have any experience with it?? I am hoping it lives = up to its hype - no mowing (early spring if you want to even it out) and = once established (may take two years) no need to water. Also as its a = prarie grass, supposedly should be able to plant perennials and annuals = pretty easily without the labor of removing sod. I am going to try winter sowing this year as our springs have just been = too wet to put in any seed. The last time I tried starting seed indoors = I used the JiffyPellets and had an entire dampoff loss. 8 flats and = nothing survived. Enough from me. Hope all are well Charisse Illinois zone 5 ------=_NextPart_000_01AC_01C245F6.0C3582A0 Content-Type: text/html; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN">
