[gardeners] Valentine's Day

Got back from supermarket about an hour ago. Put the groceries
away, arranged a dozen red roses in a vase for Miz Anne to see when she
gets home. Signed a nice card and put it with the roses. Got about a
dozen 30 count shrimp in the refrigerator to make a shrimp cocktail with
and a
pair of butterflied center cut pork chops waiting to be broiled. Gonna
make some Potatoes O'Brien and hot up some crowder peas for our dinner
tonight. I think maybe the light of my life might just smile upon me for
these efforts. <VBG>
Chopped and fried most of the lard out of some andouille sausage and
have a crockpot of giant limas quick soaking for cooking overnight. Will
add chopped onion, garlic, epazote and various seasonings to the pot
later. That's for tomorrow and Sunday, saves cooking more stuff.
I think I'll go take a nap now, I'm just exhausted. That's if I can get
Sleepy to get her head off my foot.
