Daughter, her daughter, her eldest son and his wife and daughter came to
visit for the day today. We barbecued, grilled fresh squash (from the
store, mine are still small) and generally had a good time.

Good news is that greatgranddaughter, all of 30 months old, loves to
plant things and grow them. She helped me transplant some oregano and
thyme starts for her parents small patio pot garden and then helped the
greatgranny, Miz Anne, transplant a lot of different flower starts for
the same purpose. Just delighted in the job and wanted to know the names
of all the plants. We are very pleased to have another generation of
gardeners in the family. Zoe and I ended up taking a short nap under the
trees in the back as we were worn out. <VBG> Sleepy didn't care for the
arrangement but once she was able to get in between us she went off to
sleep too. I'm beginning to think greatgrandbabies are even more fun
than grandbabies.

Life is good.
