Boy, George, it all sounds like a big dream ... more power to you
and great-granny, and enjoy every single minute of it...!
We've lost about 20 azaleas from the winterkill - don't remember a
spring like this, or should I say a winter like this one was...? We've
seen it MUCH colder, by far, and with MUCH more snow -- but that's
undoubtedly the problem, right there: not enough snow to bury the
shrubs, and preserve them. And now the reservoirs are full but we
are drowning. And cold. Heavy rain predicted for tonight, and a deluge
expected for Monday.
But we still are better off than the Caribbean island of Jamaica:
20 inches of rain in the last 36 hours ...
What's a bar-b-que..? I've forgotten. Still got the heat on!
