Well, working at the Natural History Museum in DC has its advantages..... This morning I saw the Amorphophallus titanum, as it is called in the plant world, is also known by its macabre nickname, the corpse flower.. The best description is - it smells like the leftovers from a crab picking party, when you put the remains in the trash 2 days later.... And to think that is an attractant to certain species of flies.... Makes you wonder about the flies!!! See http://www.usbg.gov/ for pictures.... Linda
