The varieties I liked were Southern Night--a wonderful black, potato-leaf determinate and Schimmerg Stoo--hollow, ruffled and striped with red, orange, yellow and green. Gurnsey Island was very productive, but the taste was too acid for me. White Bush was blah!! Purple Smudge was nothing special, and the purple smudges never developed--just orange skin and flesh.
