Howdy, I'm certainly no expert on tomatos or saving seeds, but I do enjoy both. We generally raise about 50 varieties each year, the majority comes from saved seeds. I've only had one plant produce a fruit that was not recognizable, or true to it's parent plant. My plants are jammed together in rows about 4' apart, most are staked. So you should expect your plants to produce seeds true to the parent. Good Luck. Tom
