Just about every seed company sells tomatoes bred specifically for greenhouses. Buffalo is a pretty common one, but there are lots more. My personal experience is that none of them are especially tasty, but they do taste a whole lot better than supermarket tomatoes. As for growing them in the winter, I think it is going to be fairly expensive. In addition to heat, you are really going to be short on light in December and January. It can be done, but it is not cheap. Good luck Bill McKay in E. Mass > >Can anyone on this list give me some names of some good cultivars that do >well with little light in greenhouse conditions.
