But there are so many uses for the green ones: chutney, fried green (w/
bacon and gravy) ratatoulli (sp), stir fry, and sweet pickled....

If you have a cool dark place at the end of the season, pull the plant and
hang it by its roots.  The tomatoes will gradually ripen - well not all,
but enough to make it worthwhile.
