Folks, I've done a quick search on this subject and come up with some interesting information. http://www.arapcsuext.org/agri/managbnd.htm - Lists the months of the year, in table format, for active growth, flowering, seed production, mow/dig/cut and herbicide application. Illustrates that mowing and clipping are good sources of control for starvation purposes. http://members.spree.com/stribley/flowers/369.html - nice picture of what the stuff looks like. http://axp.ipm.ucdavis.edu/PMG/WEEDS/field_bindweed.html - A more in depth pictorial description. It seems as though the chemicals of choice for bindweed is Tordon or 2,4-D. Hope this helps. Paul Reynolds Environmental Agronomist Austin Texas
