Tomato seeds are usually a medium grey, but if she's concerned they must be 
a different shade than normal. How did she try to save the seeds? Did she 
ferment them for three or four days to destroy possible seed-borne disease? 
Discard the floaters and keep only those that sank? Dry them in a dark 
place or did she put them in the sun?  Margaret L
