I've killed anything from ivy to cactus, and probably most of the fauna in between. I have been blessed this last year with some super-chilis that I have given constant care, and they have produced wonderful fruit for me. So here's my question: I raise these plants indoors, in an office that has both South and West exposure. Do I need to trim them back during the winter (ok, I'm a little late with this question, since I live in the NW.) Secondly (and really the meat of the question) I have never trimmed a plant back. How? How much? How far? To all leaves? Green as well as any slightly discolored? I do go through every two weeks or so and pick off any leaves that have shriveled or are fairly limp - is that good enough? I must say, I am extremely happy that I've had a fairly consistent harvest schedule over the winter of smaller, yet just as hot, peppers. Nothing like your own pepper flakes on a Tony Maroni's pizza to put a little tingle on your tongue. TIA, JJ
