[CH] Growing Jalapenos

Hi all,
I have just planted 4 Jalapeno plants which I bought at the nursery and 
have placed them in 4 pots each being about 6" wide by 9" deep. I've 
filled them with a premium quality potting  mixture and have watered 
them plenty. We're right in the middle of summer here in Melbourne and 
I've placed them outdoors where they'll be getting about 6 hrs full sun 
a day. Is this OK? 

Will I expect to get a decent yield from these 4 plants in these pots? 
Also I've fertilized them with Miracle Gro, is this ok? When do I 
reapply the fertilizer?

Any info would be much appreciated :)

PS: Does anyone know where I can get some peri peri seeds from?
