Dear Andrea, To thicken your chili try this: Another great way and flavorful one too is to add masa/cornmeal to thicken your chili. It adds a nice flavor and thickened texture. Mix a little masa in water and thin out to make sure you don't have any lumps. I haven't tried adding the masa straight into the liquid of the hot chili as I would think it would lump. Also could mix the masa with beer or tomato juice instead of water to help round out the flavor and add by small amounts stirring and cooking. Mary-Anne
