After some major new-year-sorting-out of the kitchen, I concluded that
ykyachi your kitchen cupboard contains a large box labelled "chiles",
and a small box labelled "mild chiles".
(And the second box is reserved for visitors.)

ps My brother-in-law, a fine fellow Ch, was killed in a road accident
in December. Bil (sic) was never a man for florists' arrangements: I
made a spray of evergreen herbs from the garden (rosemary, sage, thyme)
and green jalapenos (all I could find at the time) to go on his coffin.
