** Reply to note from "Curt Snyder, Hot's Desire" <hotsdesr@deltanet.com> Thu, 30 Jul 1998 08:55:08 -0700 (PDT) You have received several good ideas. . . One thing about homemade salsas, etc., is that this is in direct competition to what you cart does -- sell hot sauces. So anything which takes away from your selling product is counterproductive. So why not do blind tastings for participants. This will enable you to identify the most popular sauce, the hottest sauce and find someone who can correctly identify the sauce-type events. ALL of which work to your selling your product. Because that is the bottom line. Everything else mentioned is either entertainment (OK) or competition (not OK) to your cart. Of course, you could look for the most creative use for one of your product-type events, but that calls for the customer doing some upfront preparation. You want to capture them as the walk by, not have to prep. Just my marketing two cents worth. Best of luck. Let us know in advance when it will be. Those in the San Diego North County area or thereabouts can come and participate. jim > Greetings all!
