Wasn't someone asking for a source for Chiles in NYC recently? 
This was in today's Times.

              Fresh green chilies from Hatch, N.M., which are preferred by
              many cooks for Southwestern dishes, are now available at
              Kitchen Market, 218 Eighth Avenue (21st Street). They are
              $3.95 a pound. 

              The market also sells other fresh chilies, including poblano
              and serrano, plus dozens of kinds of dried chilies, along with
              chili condiments, beans, grains and dried corn products.
