Joe, et al- I would have to vote for a couple of pods for most flavorful. One is a variety of Aji Amarillo, the seeds of which came from Peru. They are excellent. The other is a hybrid I'm growing. It's interesting (to me at least) that both are bright orange pods (although the hybrid still comes out red on lots of plants). The hybrid tepins run a close third. ;-) As for yield, the Aji Amarillo plants reach 8' or more and produce 5-10 pounds of fruit, but a long season is required. My hybrids make about 200 pods in a season, the size of my little finger. The hybrid tepins make over 500 per season per bush- I have counted over 700 from one bush- but they are less than marble-sized and don't make much mass. The heat of the hybrids and hybrid tepins is fairly extreme, but the Aji Amarillo is about the heat of a hot Jalapeno. Still, if I could only grow one pod, I think it would be the Aji. Calvin
