I like the spreading of the word, but it looks like David Wees of Plant & Garden didn't do quite enough homework. As Gareth already pointed out, S/B Chinense, not Chinese. <<Most peppers belong to one species, Capsicum annuum: but there are others cultivated like <<the tabasco pepper (Capsicum frutescens) and the volcanically hot habanero pepper (Capsicum <<chinese) which, despite its Latin name, did not originate in China. And there was the reference to masochistic "Chili Heads" instead of Chileheads or Chile-Heads as Myron noted. But the one that is my pet peeve is when they say habs and Scotch Bonnets are the same chile. <<Painfully spicy habanero pepper looks like a small wrinkled pumpkin. Also called 'Scotch <<Bonnet', it is popular in the Caribbean.
