I've only been to the hotlucks at Jim McGrath's, but I've never seen
anyone getting anywhere close to high. It seems to be two or three
beers over the course of the afternoon. Everyone seems very sober to
me. When "The Bread" was at one hotluck, there was slightly more interest
in the beer, but nothing got out of hand. There is no hard drinking.
