Greetings from NW Indiana I grew one Trifetti, bought off the ChileWoman in S.Indiana. Grew about 1.5 to 2 feet tall. I kept it in a pot about gallon sized. <ramble> Container growing made it easier to isolate from other pollinators; I isolated it in hopes that its seeds will be viable and purple-producing. Green pods went to purple, purple pods ripened to red, then I dried 'em. </ramble> Hasta la lista, Jesse G CH#1200 raincrone@juno.com wrote: > > (Yes, this post does return to topic. :)) (SNIP) > > Broke my heart, 'cause I rrrreeeeallly wanted those > lovely deep purple cayennes with mid-violet flowers. > That's why I went on and started some Trifettis; dunno why, but I seem to > be jonesin' to grow > purple chiles. :) I'm hoping for a plant or two I can transfer to the > windowsill at season's end; I think > they'd look stunning with the little red firecrackers on > my other plants. > > (Anybody else here grown Trifetti indoors?
