Then when ready to eat I grasp the "silks" in one hand and pull the ear out from the butt end. Shucks and silks from the one hand go in the scrap bucket whilst the corn in the other hand gets dipped in butter and sprinkled with salt and chipotle or just Tony Chachere's Cajun Spice.
