This is for Darrell:
There are lots of neighborhood farmer's markets these days. I think the habs 
may be a little late this year, but the farmer's markets are the places to 
try! You can find where they are by going to the King County (metrokc.gov) or 
WA State websites and looking for the link to "Puget Sound Fresh" which will 
help direct you to some good markets. You can avoid downtown if you like!
Some good local markets: University District (Saturdays), Issaquah 
(Saturdays), West Seattle (Sundays) and a new one in Ballard - I don't know 
what day.
If you're desparate, the Farmer's Markets in Eastern Washington are REALLY 
nice. Yakima & Pasco come to mind.
The habs are out there! The hunting season has started! Happy hunting!
