not UK at all
1st is saying 2 gram per liter
2nd is sayingi 1.4 liters (dry) per square meter
3rd is a little more complicated

umol is often used to specify the concentration
1 molar means usually 1 mass weight of the compound in 1 liter of solute.
here we are using it so measure energy flux or photon per square meter
per second

another traditional measure of light energy is foot candles
1000ft-c is roughly 200 umol m-2 s-1

80 umol m-2 s-1 is the noon solar flux at 30 N lattitude
160 umol m-2 s-1 is the noon solar flux at the equator
what they are comparing is does it make much difference if the lights
are on 12 hours or 16 hours
125 umol m-2 s-1 is about noon day sun in south florida
