Well, after 5 hours of shuttling chiles to the fields, we are making progress. It looks like there is going to be 4,950 chiles for the fields event (a 20% increase over last year). Here is what I transported today: Aji Amarillo- 250 Bolivian Rainbow- 350 Big Jim- 300 Chimayo- (in honor of the Zangers :-) 300 Bulgarian Carrot- 100 Medusa- 50 Pequin- 350 Red Savina(R)- 200 Tepin- 100 Tabasco- 200 Tri-fetta (Varingata)- 250 Star Burst- 350 Peter Pepper- 100 Yellow Mushroom- 100 Yatsafusa- 150 Cayenne- 150 MYstery Mix #1- 750 Mystery Mix #2- 300 Mystery Mix #3- 250 Mystery Mix #4- 50 Orange Habanero- 50 Chocolate Habanero- 50 That should come to a total of 4,950 plants for your enjoyment. Dates again are Sept 27th & 28th. Should be about 40 different varieties.
