Meanwhile the Piasa Bird circles high overhead, anticipating a lucrative 
environment come this September...

Oh, we could re-write an old legend with that one.  "The chief stood, hab in 
hand, ready to plunge the deadly pod into the maw of the murderous bird..."

Oh, wait, birds like pepper pods.  Chief loses, but retains honor.  I will 
keep an eye on the sky when I go to the Fields this year.
