I almost forgot about the Hot and Spicy Food Festival Linda! Sounds like I
might just have to come up there and drag you down to it. I checked out the
website and this is what they had on it.

Stella Artois Hot & Spicy Food Festival: August 22 through August 24
Tantalizing global fare and savoury artistic fusions join together on this
favorite festival weekend, featuring everything that's "hot in a pot"!
Legendary Guinea dance band Bembeya Jazz will whet your appetite for three
days of exciting culinary arts and culture. Explore Latin, African and
Carribean traditions through cooking demonstrations, sizzling dance and
music.

Savour spicy soups and dive into mouth-watering concoctions from Ethiopia
and South Asia. Satisfy your appetite at the great Jamaican Jerk Fest, mix
in a marinade from the Red Hot Market and serve yourself up a hot weekend
full of spicy flair!

Gary

> The Hot and Spicy Food Festival is on again this year in Toronto, on
August 22nd - 24th. There is a website, at www.harbourfront.on.ca . An
information line exists too, 416-973-4000. I have never actually made it to
one of these festivals but I understand that there is a lot of Caribbean
food as well as lots of other hot things to try.
