I don't know about being more tolerant of pepper spray if you are a CH. Just last night when processing the first batch of Chile powder (Pulla) from this years crop, my fingers got a good coat of Mr. C. Several hours later I rubbed my eye. At first I thought it was a small amount of fine chile dust on my face (I opened the blender a little to soon on one batch and got a face full of fine dust). So, I tried wiping my eye with my shirt sleeve... more burn, must be dust on the shirt too I thought. To really appreciate my predicament you need to know I was at the park with a lot of friends playing soft ball. The burn just kept rising, I took an ice cube from the water cooler and placed it to my eye. No relief, just more burn, burn, burn. Placed the ice on my other eye for a moment, it started burning also. It was then that I realized it was coming from my fingers and each time I rubbed or touched it I was adding more. Once I stopped touching my eyes the burn stopped in about 5 minutes.
