After some private mail from "Yankee's" on pepper harvest, I thought I would toot my own horn I have an area 16 ft by 16 ft for peppers, My plant out date is June 10th with average first frost Sept 10th I have 120 pepper plants, 6 are green stuffer, 6 chiletipins, 6 peter pepper and 4 Venz Sweets from which I have not picked anything from. For Zone I am border line USDA 4a and 5b. Last week I picked the following RIPE pods. 29 Caribbean Red 13 Red Savina's 39 Lilacs 39 Scotch Bonnets 43 Purira 15 Bolivian Rainbow 14 Cayannes 27 Thai Hot Dragona 6 Country Girls 15 Aiji's 5 white habs. 4 Jals Last night I picked the following RIPE pods 30 Caribbean Reds 60 "Orange" lilac habanero's 3 Red Savina's 54 Scotch Bonnets 42 Purira's 36 Lemon Habanero's AKA Red Aji's 7 Red / Chocolate Habanero's 2 Country Girls. Ran into sundown before I could pick the rest. Not too bad for growing chile's in a non-recommended area. Byron
