I'm jealous as heck. My fall brocolli didn't do diddly this year. I tried  
a new variety and was 3 weeks late getting 'em in the ground. Pfffft to 
you, too <bg>.

Re bolting: as long as they little yellow flowers haven't started to poke 
out, you're safe.
