Much like the blacksmiths must have been when the day of the automobile dawned. One friend of mine who supported her family until her husband's Ph.D. came through won't even play games on a computer. She barely tolerates one under the same roof. Her husband regards it askance, too, especially after he sat down at the departmental computer to play a game and the first question that arose was "Do you want to format the hard disk?" He said yes.
