Hello Harvey and Bill -- Glad you joined in the garden
photo discusion.. 

I have an observation: all the difficult pictures in the garden
seem to be taken in April. All the successful pictures are
taken in August. The sun is in a different part of the sky for
these events. Do you think that makes a striking difference
in quality of illumination?
