My big annual flower bed still has no plants in it, since
I have to wait for the house painters, remember..? Jimmie
rototilled it a month ago, but guess what I found there today:
six gladioli are growing straight up in a cluster! My tree man
walked by, and remarked that they are out everywhere.
What's out everywhere, Jose..? The daffodils. Oh, well, uh,
those aren't daffodils, Jose, they're glads. Oh, said he, you
mean tulips..? Dear, oh dear...
Penny, NY zone 6 -- still 42* at night, now 79* by day.
And that's exactly the weather that brings on the 'dollar spot'
in the lawn! Ugghh.....
