FWIW, Daffodil Mart (about which people speak so fondly) has been sold to
White Flower Farm.  Brent and Becky Heath, the bulb experts responsible for
Daffodil Mart's success, were also um.....riffed...by White Flower Farm
about 18months before the expiration of their consultation contract.  Don't
know what they're doing now, but they've got three kids in college, so you
can bet they're not retired.  All of this in a letter from Brent and Becky
Heath, sent to Garden Writers Assn. of America members (including me).  So
it may not be business as usual at DM this year. Margaret
