Hi George,
    I hope you have gotten the hatches battened down. I am just guessing
that you are going to be far enough west of the predicted landfall that
you will be on the weaker side of the storm. I certainly hope so. We
will include you and your family in our prayers tonight.
    We got only 9/10 from Charley and none from that storm that came to
Louisiana earlier. It looks like we will not get any rain from Earl. So
we are still at less than 3" since April 19th. I did go ahead and plant
some more Lasoda potatos and a couple rows of green beans and a few
hills of yellow squash. The Jalapeno Grandes and the Anaheim Chilis are
still producing. Once it gets a little cooler, I'm going to plant cole
crops.
