>> In view of the fact that I have no color memory and am Martha >> Stewart-challenged, I painted all of the walls of our house off white. It >> suits me, and it isn't cold to me, but others may disagree. What do you >> put on your walls? I dislike blue, green and tan walls, my husband loathes >> pink/rose or any shade of same. Margaret >> Almost every room with painted walls in our house is an off-white...or close. The exception is our bedroom. Two years ago, I decided to be daring and so painted this room a dark wine-burgundy. It was a drastic change and it may take a half-dozen coats of white to cover it one day, but we like it. With the 35 year old Italian provincial furniture, and pleated shades on the windows, it has a different look... kind of present day "renaissance."
