For those interested in the weather the November issue of Reader's
Digest has a layman's language article on El Nino/La Nina starting on
page 137. The thing of interest to me is that it shows that my area will
be warmer and drier than normal this winter. Reckon I'd better overhaul
the soaker hoses again.

A note for Vickie O'Keefe if she's back online. Forgot to mention in a
previous post that Texas Gardener is a pretty good magazine on gardening
in Texas. It's good enough that we keep a subscription up because the
upper Texas coast has exactly the same weather, soil types, etc. that we
do.

Beautiful weather here at the moment, too bad Miz Anne and I both have
raging sinus infections again, accompanied by sore throats. Blech!
