Could be worse. Right now (5 PM) it is 3 degrees, the wind is blowing at at least 35 mph, and it is going to get colder this evening. Checked my greenhouse (cold house actually) and the soil is frozen, the lettuce is likewise frozen, and the rosemary looks very unhapy. Worse to come. My son has to go back to school sunday. He goes in western Maine and it looks like a drive through freezing rain, sleet and snow. \ Bill M in Eastern Massachusetts >From owner-gardeners@globalgarden.com Fri Jan 01 07:02:53 1999 >Received: from [209.66.116.20] by hotmail.com (1.0) with SMTP id MHotMail309265577218733506532499351079323617270; Fri Jan 01 07:02:53 1999 >Received: (from majordomo@localhost) > by webhosts.net (8.8.7/8.8.7) id HAA13500 > for gardeners-list; Fri, 1 Jan 1999 07:03:32 -0800 >Received: from mail.socket.net (mail.socket.net [216.106.1.7]) > by webhosts.net (8.8.7/8.8.7) with SMTP id HAA13007 > for <gardeners@globalgarden.com>; Fri, 1 Jan 1999 07:03:27 -0800 >Received: from flower by mail.socket.net ; Fri, 01 Jan 1999 09:08:28 -600 >Message-Id: <3.0.1.32.19990101085714.00fec7e0@socket.net> >X-Sender: brothenb@socket.net >X-Mailer: Windows Eudora Light Version 3.0.1 (32) >Date: Fri, 01 Jan 1999 08:57:14 -0600 >To: gardeners@globalgarden.com >From: Barb Rothenberger <brothenb@socket.net> >Subject: [gardeners] warm weather >Mime-Version: 1.0 >Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" >Sender: owner-gardeners@globalgarden.com >Precedence: bulk >Reply-To: gardeners@globalgarden.com > >What say we all converge on George and Miz Anne???
