How about mustard greens, George? My grandmother always grew them in her garden. I loved the way she prepared them with bacon fat. Ahhhhhh! I can feel my arteries clogging just by thinking about them! It must not have hurt my Nana, she is still cooking collard greens and rapidly approaching 90. I hope to God I have her genes. As for turnips, I agree with you George, I don't like them cooked, just raw. Myra Amler amler@mindspring.com "Where are we going and why am I in this handbasket?" I eat raw turnips, quite fond of them. Just don't care for cooked ones or the greens, nasty stuff. Yuchh! I don't eat grits either so guess I'm not a true southerner. <VBG> George
