Yesterday, 12/26/99, was the celebration of our wedding anniversary. Thirty-nine years of wedded bliss, well mostly. We celebrated simply and quietly as I am down with severe sinus drainage and a sore throat. For lack of a better culprit I am blamin it on all the folks with fireplaces burning up all that wood. We often get an inversion layer here that holds the smoke close to the ground and that's been the case for the last several days. Anyhow, our daughter was here to celebrate Xmas and our anniversary with us and went back to Houston area yesterday. Her eldest son was coming in from Montana on a 10 pm flight so she had to pick him up. The other two kids will be back on January 5. They had already been gone a week and the daughter was missing them a lot. Tomorrow is her birthday, she was born one year and two days after we married but we still get some funny looks when we tell people her birth day. <VBG> We're still happy and hope all of you are. Gotta get going as I have a batch of kumquat marmalade cooking and am going to make a batch of honey lemon marmalade after that. Life is bery, bery good. George
