Sort of: It's Victoria Day, the old bat's birthday, and as big a holiday as
the 1st July (Old Dominion Day).  Fireworks, big dos in parks, etc.  I am
trying  to weed the garden and tie up jungle of roses which have gone  wild
in a darwinian spurt for survival in the last drought ridden months...after
a 40 daynighter I have 16 foot canes on an 8 foot rose bush.....etc.

and lots of weeds.  I refused to go out there while we had a family of
skunks under theback porch.  the wildlife guy said they'd be too scared to
come out but did I believe him?  hell no.  porch has been sealed, so they
are looking for a new home.
