George Shirley just called me (as I was about to telephone him because I 
hadn't seen any posts from him for a few days). He wants  you all to know 
he's okay, but his ISP isn't. The ISP has lost its main telephone line or 
something, and doesn't expect to be operational until Friday. He'll have 
quite a stack of mail by then, and we'll all miss hearing from him. Maybe 
he can bide his time tatting a palm tree. ;-))) Margaret L
