[gardeners] Green tomatoes

I save my plant trays, the ones with the "Grates" on the bottom.  Place my
tomatoes in  a single layer. Place in cellar. Check for rotting ones 2x

Comments on other methods.

1. Ripening on window sill seems to make them mushy real quick

2. Adding banana or apple did not appear to speed up process but attracted a
lot of fruit flies.

3. Bringing  plants in also appear not to speed up ripening either.  Did
bring in a lot of aphids that got onto other plants.
