Good mornning, Mary-Anne,

It sounds as if you guys had quite a feast:) I am delighted that the
lamb and prunes worked out so well for you. It certainly is one of our
favorites.

Saturday night, our gourmet group met for dinner, and this time the
theme was "vegetarian."

I made a linguini with cauliflower, toasted pine nuts, golden raisins,
parsley and parmesan cheese, which was quite a hit. It, like the lamb
dish is so good that I wonder why I don't fix it more often....which is
what Vivian requested:)

How is this storm treating you? Our macadamia tree has been blown nearly
on its side and is badly in need of staking; but the ground is soooooo
soggy and the rain and wind so fierce, that I don't think I will be
going to the nursery for that 6' stake today. Poor thing will have to do
its best with the puny stakes it has, which suffice under "normal"
conditions.

No notice taken of the EQ this weekend. Didn't feel a thing, thank
goodness.

Hope you are all well, and, as my mother would have said, "snug as a bug
in a rug."

Ron
