No I don't start my plants in1 gal pots.

I actually use speed trays, so I can start more on a small heat mat. =
As soon as the emerge I transplant to some 3 1/2 x 5 newspaper pots. =
Under grow lights,... 16 fixtures. At about the 6th true leaf stage =
I like to move them into 1 gal pots. I would love to move them to a =
greenhouse at that time. At the moment 150ft at 4ft deep snow is a =
tough trail.

I start mine 12 weeks early to get more harvest in my growing zone. =
Tomatoes and peppers are too pot bound at 12 weeks in small pots. =20
